There are several aspects to consider when choosing your next driver. By reading golf driver reviews, I got a good idea what to look for in my next choice.  First of all, you must consider the loft angle.  The loft angle is the determining factor of how high your launch is going to be right off impact from the tee.  Too high or too low of a loft angle, your distance game will suffer.  You have to try to choose the angle that will maximize your flight path.

The heads of golf drivers are also a large determining factor of how far you can hit the ball. The larger the head, the more room there is for forgiveness.  This means that on even on your miss hits, you could still get a good distance to your shot.  The large head allows more room for error.  Nowadays the largest head you can get on your driver is 460cc.  Driver heads can be composed of three different materials.  You have the option of a steel head, titanium head, or a composite head.

Finally, there is the shaft of the golf driver.  The most common shaft make up is the graphite shaft, which is light in weight and allows for an increase in club head speed.  There are also steel shafts, but these are heavier and can hinder the speed of your swing.  The faster you are able to swing the driver, the more distance you will get on your shot.  Graphite is typically the way to go in this aspect of the driver.  When determining the size of your shaft, you usually want it the length from your hip bone to the ground.  Once again, too long of a shaft can result in slower club head speed and less distance.  Choose what feels best for your needs.
